Becoming an Affilaite-My First Try

The Who, What, When, Where and Why About Affiliates: as Kelly understands it. Affiliates are many different types of companies that give you the opportunity to advertise their products. You earn a commission if someone purchases their product from you site. I went to ClickBank because I am familiar with them. I have heard many expert marketers in the field suggest trying this when researching hot products with a tool ClickBank offers. I have heard of other sites that do the same thing but I am taking this one step at a time. I went to tab of hot selling products and then typed in an general area that was related to my niche. I also chose a product that related to my site. They have a description of the business, ratings. sales and the commission they paid.also had a link to their website so I could gather more information. I then placed the hoplink which they provided on my blog in a gadget and the link appeared on my page. This is still in the experimental stages. I did get permission from the company first and they sent me an e-mail quickly. I put is on my blog that I made my first Adsense sale as it gets more traffic. I will let you know how it works. I Made my First Adsense Sale

I was surprised when I checked the "monetize" button on one of my blogs. It said I had earned $1.75 and on AdSense and this shocked me and gave me motivation to keep learning and blogging. What is unique about this sale was that it was a creative site of my own illustrations. This blog has had some traffic but no money yet but I am going to try and change this. My blog An Unknown Writer, Illustrator and Photographer is the current favorite. It shows illustrations and other creative things. My focus was just to display my artistic talent so I could possibly sell my talent to any art collectors.
This dollar will be framed because it is my first sell. All business people like framing their first dollar as it reminds them of the hard work and effort was not wasted. I also is a sign of where I started and my future goals. It motivates me to keep going and gathering knowledge  Hang in there because it can happen to you. This is very awesome because I did it on my own so I must be doing something right.
I did learn that the more you blog the greater the chance for visitors to your site. I read that if you add more pages this also increases the chance of traffic so this maybe my next move. This was a real confidence builder and I can't wait to learn other methods to making money. So far I did not have to spend any money but I have been putting in a lot of time. Keep blogging because you never will know when you could actually replace your income on the net from doing something I you really enjoy. This would be a dream come true.

Searching for a Niche that I am Passionate About!

I just said a mouthful in my last post and I did not want to make anyone angry but I do want to open Americans eyes that are closed. The point of my last blog was to get people to vote and it does not matter which party you belong to. I am not sure that this is where my blog is heading but I felt I wanted to express something that I feel very passionate about. I am just brainstorming ideas and I would like to help others gain knowledge about living life and making it better. At age 50 you come to a time you hope to leave a legacy. How much money you make is usually forgotten but not when you make an impression is someones life. Working in mental health for many years I would like to think I assisted that person in making positive changes in life. I have had adolescents that came back several years later and thanked me for my help. They were proud that they quit using drugs and were attending college. I am no expert but I do feel qualified regarding life experiences and people. I did work with thousands of adolescents that had behavior and substance abuse issues. Helping people comes very natural for me. It feels really good when you can make a difference in someones life. Just writing posts help me to come up with new ideas and I hope I will get more focused on one topic that I feel will make a difference in someones life. Tell the next Kelly Says have a great day!

Wake up America and Pay Attention

America, what is going on in our country. Do you know that each and everyday your rights are being chipped away. It is happening before your eyes and our rights will be gone by you being unaware. It is called "apathy" not caring about anything unless it involves your own little world. It is too late when it affects you as it is already been changed and you may never get it back. I am not concerned with your political affiliations as it is a free country and you have the right to do as you wish. This is about to change unless you start protecting "FREEDOM" right now. Some of you will never care until it is gone and I will not have pity on you. You need to pay attention now and spend some time researching what is going on in politics. You may not like it but as Americans it is your duty to be aware of what is going on. In school you had to take classes you did not like but you did it to graduate. Now your responsibility is to your country as an adult citizen. I refuse to tell you how to vote as that is not American but if you do not vote things are going to change and possibly for the worse. Many a man died for you to have this right.
My great grandparents came to this country from Germany and they taught me that America is a great country and told me how important voting is as they never had that privilege in Germany. They were proud to be Americans and knew the constitution word for word. Many people that have lived here for many generations cannot do this. Going through my e-mails this morning I got some world shaking, eye opening information that has motivated me into writing this post. I only hope it will not be blocked from the internet police.
I enjoy being able to express myself on the Internet and I know you do to or you wouldn't be reading this now. Some people are trying to change the Internet and control or monitor the information that you write about. Do you think that this is right? Internet control could become a reality and if you don't believe me just remember how the health care bill was passed by force. A case of the government knowing what is best for you. I am not insured at this time and I am not for it.
We are being asked to stop giving opinions which is against the freedom of speech. The NRA is just one of them and I am sure it will not stop there. The 2nd amendment says we have the right to keep and bear arms and and this was created for individual use, or a collective right to bear arms in a militia, or both.Wikipedia) How you feel about this right is your business but I personally do not only want criminals, police and the military just to have this right to bear arms. I am trying to speak out to all Americans that want to keep the constitution in tack. If you need the government to tell you how to live then maybe you are living in the wrong country.
Please wake up America and take a few minutes to gather all the information about who you vote into office and do it because you believe that they will follow your morals and values. Don't just vote to follow the other guy. Many countries have been destroyed for less than this. I do not want imperialism, socialism, fascism, dictatorship or any other thing but democracy. If I wanted one of these other types of government then I would have moved to a country that ran a government like this. Dedicate yourself to what you believe in and then make your decision to vote for someone that follows your moral and belief system. Freedom is one thing I would fight for as I believe that as our forefathers felt it is all worth it and I will not give it up. Quit taking freedom for granted as is a very precious gift. I am a person of integrity and I do not vote for those that go against my beliefs even if I like them as a person. I know this has been said before "love it or leave it" and that is what Kelly Says!

Making Money Taking Baby Steps

I have been reading "POTPIEGIRL" and she has shared some great information that I would like to share with you. She sent me an e-mail that was a reply of people wanting to make just make zero to $1000 a month on-line to start off with. This is very honest and realistic. "Plug and Play Niche Cash" was a link she turned me on to and it was very simple and a great piece of advertising. It is free information and very simple to follow. They are going to have more free information again for the next step. I cannot wait as it was so refreshing. If you can KISS (keep it simple stupid) than maybe we can all learn something that will lead us to more money one day. Brainstorming a Niche

I have been using something that I was taught in creative writing class in college. I have been making a list of everything that I am passionate about and want to write about. I use main topics such the outdoors. Below them I have a list of subtopics I then add everything I would like to write about this like gardening, growing houseplants without killing them, the possibilities are limitless. You get the idea and I know you can do this. I am making sure that I can write many posts for a very long time.
I have decided to try a few ideas and I will let you know if they work. I will start one more blog other than the ones I have already started and which ever I feel has the most potential and is something I am really passionate about will be the blog I focus on. I believe focusing on one or two good blogs is a lot of work and I want to make them the best I can. I am keeping an open mind and a positive attitude. Marketing is the key to a successful blog and it does need to gain the interest of the public. I will make money off of this market yet. Just wait and see. One thing I won't do is brag about my riches and I won't make any promises I cannot back up. I will not fool the public like I have seen others do. I know you are smart and will not fall for anything dishonest. That's an idea I may write about advertising, what is smart and what is stupid or irritating. Start brainstorming and I will show you my results on my next post. Please be patient with me for all you bloggers out there that are successful. I hope to enjoy your successes soon.

Newbie Blogger

I read a very informative e-mail tonight that raised some interesting solutions. It gave me some insight into blogging for profit. It described how each individual posts you made were rated by Google and not your actual blog. The most important thing is it takes time to get incoming links to each post you publish at least that is how I understand it. You also need to comment on sites similar to yours. The more you connect with others the more your site gets attention. The more posts the more opportunity for gathering important links. After I do more research on the person that gave me this information I will see if it is appropriate to identify him. I am not sure on regulations about this at this time. This information was about Wordpress blogs and how to work the traffic on them but I will need to explore blogger and how it works to get traffiic. I will try to contact this person and see if he minds that I give you his name and program information which at first glance seems to have a good product to sell.
I have adsense on this site but have had only 10 viewers and no revenue at this time. I will just keep posting pages and hope that you will become a follower. Tonight I am keeping it short and sweet as I have had a rather busy day but this gives me something to work with. Have a Good Day tomorrow and I'll be back after I do more research. Bad Advertising

I get dozens of e-mails everyday on Search Engine Optimization, more traffic, a niche (the right niche), my on-line business is making thousands in just three days, and it goes on and on. They show you a new house, several new cars and the vacations they take all over the world. Remember there is always a disclaimer. Showing this information to desperate people who need money do fall for it or these people would not be in business. This is what causes a distrust with the American public. Sometimes people forget that we are not stupid, desperate, but not stupid.
One thing that needs to change is repetitive advertising. Is this a desperate attempt to get a few bucks from a lot of people for old information?  Things on the Internet are changing everyday. The only way to get somewhere is by taking some risks and educating yourself. I believe that there are honest on-line businesses that you can make money on but you must be passionate about what you are selling. Before you end up charging thousands of dollars on your credit card to purchase an on-line business I hope together we will be able to have all the information to make educated business decisions. My philosophy about selling something is you have to believe in what you are selling. I feel that the Internet can be a good way to be in business for yourself as it has many possibilities.
With this blog I will begin to study the process of making money on-line and plans to break away from the advertising that is redundant. I am hoping to educate myself and you in more unique way to make money on-line. It may take awhile but I will assure you that I will make every effort to not sell you something that does not work. I will maintain integrity and above all I will be honest. The way each person gets successful has to do with being unique and setting yourself apart from your competition. In my next post I will begin my quest.

This website is very helpful and has good information about how to find a niche. It is Wealthy Affiliates which I feel is one of the best sites to get information. Of course you can pay to join but at least they give you some information before you make a purchase. I hope I am smart enough that I can use the free information to make some money on the web. I am sure it will take some time though.
Another good site for blogging information and how to make money and is Yaro Starak. He has a newsletter that gives good information about blogging. He is an honest blogger in my opinion. He does charge you to become a student but he also gives you free information some times. If I had the money I would pay for his course. Well maybe someday!!!

Making Money On-line. Is it Possible?

After reading my e-mails this morning I noticed how all e-mails about ways to make money on-line resembled each other in appearance and content. They all tell you how you can be wealthy in weeks by using their software.We were always taught if it sounds to good to be true than it probably is but I guess we still like to believe that people in general are honest. If I would of bought the first software that guaranteed to make me rich I would of spent thousands of dollars like they did to figure out how to make millions. When you click close to shut the link then it says to hit the cancel button and it takes so much money off. I try to shut it off and the cancel button is flashing in my face.The price starts at $97 and you end up paying $17 if you keep hitting cancel. If their product is so good then why do they continually reduce the price.
I am a product of information overload and now I distrust most all the money making scams. Since I did not take the first offer each day I get a new e-mail for the some product that claimed to make me rich I have gained valuable knowledge. Now I am not a business whiz but it seems like they are having a lot of difficulty selling their products. There is also something else I see a lot and that is their are only 43 spots left before they close this to the public. Why always 43 spots and still months later. The problem is that they never tell you enough about their product to make a educated business decision on whether you want to buy it.
I will be fair though their are some one which is Wealthy Affiliate that has been pretty honest and my research has lead me to believe that they may give me at least a chance to learn something about making money from home. I would like to see something unique and fresh. I am tired of them boasting about how much they made, their new homes, their new expensive cars. All I really care is if it can work if you follow the steps or if it is for me. Personally I would like to at least be able to make a nice living working from home. Saying all I have to work is 7 minutes a day does not give me much faith in making millions. Just a word to all the work at home on-line businesses, Americans are not stupid and when treated like they are you lose another sale.
I challenge an on-line marketer to show me a new technique and idea that does not just hype me up but gives me a new and fresh way to make a profit online. Give me tools and software that work to make enough money to live comfortably. I am willing to work hard and give more time to it then just 18 clicks. Maybe these are good programs but the advertising is so similar I cannot tell one from the other.
The New American Dream now is just being able to keep my home, car and feed the family. Please though I beg you do not try to steal from my pocket as I want to believe that most people are honest. I will work hard but give me the information that allows me to make a good business decision. Do not make me pay money just to see the product. You can even test an electronic before you buy it. One last thing do not treat the public as if we were stupid because we are not.

Get a Life

As I sit here today and listen to what is going on in the world I would like to just scream! The world seems to be falling apart. Yet, living in America I can walk out my door and see nothing but blue skies, birds and the great things that spring brings. When I think that I could be looking out my door and seeing what third world countries see it gives me chills. It always looks grim and dark at least on TV and I am sure that it looks that way up close if you had a chance to look.
If you are in America and complaining about anything you should just turn on your television and watch the news. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and even more get off your butt and do something about it. Just complaining does not solve a thing. If the citizens of America don't start speaking out we will look out the door and see a mighty depressing sight.
I am tired of people making excuses of why they don't vote but still complaining about what is going on with the country. You cannot just sit on your butt and do nothing about it. I am looking for some Americans that are willing to really change what we see is wrong in America. At least the Tea Party Americans are trying to do something about the state of the nation. Unemployment is at an all time high and if the economy is recovering I sure cannot tell. Yes I am a part of the statistics of the unemployed but just think about this for a minute. What you really do not know  is that the statistics include only those which are on unemployment. If your unemployment has ran out do they know if you have a job or not?
Well America it is time to wake up and realize that while you worry about just surviving yourself you really have no one looking out for your best interest. You need to wake up before one day you look at what use to be the richest country in the world is now gone. What will it take for you to wake up and see what is really going on in your country. Do you even care or will you wait until someone else is telling you when and where you can live, work or play. If you don't think that this can happen just look at the history of the world. How long did it take one man to talk human beings into killing other human beings? When I mean to get a life you better pay attention because a lot of things are happening in the background that are not good for your life.
