Becoming an Affilaite-My First Try

The Who, What, When, Where and Why About Affiliates: as Kelly understands it. Affiliates are many different types of companies that give you the opportunity to advertise their products. You earn a commission if someone purchases their product from you site. I went to ClickBank because I am familiar with them. I have heard many expert marketers in the field suggest trying this when researching hot products with a tool ClickBank offers. I have heard of other sites that do the same thing but I am taking this one step at a time. I went to tab of hot selling products and then typed in an general area that was related to my niche. I also chose a product that related to my site. They have a description of the business, ratings. sales and the commission they paid.also had a link to their website so I could gather more information. I then placed the hoplink which they provided on my blog in a gadget and the link appeared on my page. This is still in the experimental stages. I did get permission from the company first and they sent me an e-mail quickly. I put is on my blog that I made my first Adsense sale as it gets more traffic. I will let you know how it works. I Made my First Adsense Sale

I was surprised when I checked the "monetize" button on one of my blogs. It said I had earned $1.75 and on AdSense and this shocked me and gave me motivation to keep learning and blogging. What is unique about this sale was that it was a creative site of my own illustrations. This blog has had some traffic but no money yet but I am going to try and change this. My blog An Unknown Writer, Illustrator and Photographer is the current favorite. It shows illustrations and other creative things. My focus was just to display my artistic talent so I could possibly sell my talent to any art collectors.
This dollar will be framed because it is my first sell. All business people like framing their first dollar as it reminds them of the hard work and effort was not wasted. I also is a sign of where I started and my future goals. It motivates me to keep going and gathering knowledge  Hang in there because it can happen to you. This is very awesome because I did it on my own so I must be doing something right.
I did learn that the more you blog the greater the chance for visitors to your site. I read that if you add more pages this also increases the chance of traffic so this maybe my next move. This was a real confidence builder and I can't wait to learn other methods to making money. So far I did not have to spend any money but I have been putting in a lot of time. Keep blogging because you never will know when you could actually replace your income on the net from doing something I you really enjoy. This would be a dream come true.

Searching for a Niche that I am Passionate About!

I just said a mouthful in my last post and I did not want to make anyone angry but I do want to open Americans eyes that are closed. The point of my last blog was to get people to vote and it does not matter which party you belong to. I am not sure that this is where my blog is heading but I felt I wanted to express something that I feel very passionate about. I am just brainstorming ideas and I would like to help others gain knowledge about living life and making it better. At age 50 you come to a time you hope to leave a legacy. How much money you make is usually forgotten but not when you make an impression is someones life. Working in mental health for many years I would like to think I assisted that person in making positive changes in life. I have had adolescents that came back several years later and thanked me for my help. They were proud that they quit using drugs and were attending college. I am no expert but I do feel qualified regarding life experiences and people. I did work with thousands of adolescents that had behavior and substance abuse issues. Helping people comes very natural for me. It feels really good when you can make a difference in someones life. Just writing posts help me to come up with new ideas and I hope I will get more focused on one topic that I feel will make a difference in someones life. Tell the next Kelly Says have a great day!

Wake up America and Pay Attention

America, what is going on in our country. Do you know that each and everyday your rights are being chipped away. It is happening before your eyes and our rights will be gone by you being unaware. It is called "apathy" not caring about anything unless it involves your own little world. It is too late when it affects you as it is already been changed and you may never get it back. I am not concerned with your political affiliations as it is a free country and you have the right to do as you wish. This is about to change unless you start protecting "FREEDOM" right now. Some of you will never care until it is gone and I will not have pity on you. You need to pay attention now and spend some time researching what is going on in politics. You may not like it but as Americans it is your duty to be aware of what is going on. In school you had to take classes you did not like but you did it to graduate. Now your responsibility is to your country as an adult citizen. I refuse to tell you how to vote as that is not American but if you do not vote things are going to change and possibly for the worse. Many a man died for you to have this right.
My great grandparents came to this country from Germany and they taught me that America is a great country and told me how important voting is as they never had that privilege in Germany. They were proud to be Americans and knew the constitution word for word. Many people that have lived here for many generations cannot do this. Going through my e-mails this morning I got some world shaking, eye opening information that has motivated me into writing this post. I only hope it will not be blocked from the internet police.
I enjoy being able to express myself on the Internet and I know you do to or you wouldn't be reading this now. Some people are trying to change the Internet and control or monitor the information that you write about. Do you think that this is right? Internet control could become a reality and if you don't believe me just remember how the health care bill was passed by force. A case of the government knowing what is best for you. I am not insured at this time and I am not for it.
We are being asked to stop giving opinions which is against the freedom of speech. The NRA is just one of them and I am sure it will not stop there. The 2nd amendment says we have the right to keep and bear arms and and this was created for individual use, or a collective right to bear arms in a militia, or both.Wikipedia) How you feel about this right is your business but I personally do not only want criminals, police and the military just to have this right to bear arms. I am trying to speak out to all Americans that want to keep the constitution in tack. If you need the government to tell you how to live then maybe you are living in the wrong country.
Please wake up America and take a few minutes to gather all the information about who you vote into office and do it because you believe that they will follow your morals and values. Don't just vote to follow the other guy. Many countries have been destroyed for less than this. I do not want imperialism, socialism, fascism, dictatorship or any other thing but democracy. If I wanted one of these other types of government then I would have moved to a country that ran a government like this. Dedicate yourself to what you believe in and then make your decision to vote for someone that follows your moral and belief system. Freedom is one thing I would fight for as I believe that as our forefathers felt it is all worth it and I will not give it up. Quit taking freedom for granted as is a very precious gift. I am a person of integrity and I do not vote for those that go against my beliefs even if I like them as a person. I know this has been said before "love it or leave it" and that is what Kelly Says!

Making Money Taking Baby Steps

I have been reading "POTPIEGIRL" and she has shared some great information that I would like to share with you. She sent me an e-mail that was a reply of people wanting to make just make zero to $1000 a month on-line to start off with. This is very honest and realistic. They are going to have more free information again for the next step. I cannot wait as it was so refreshing. Brainstorming a Niche

I have been using something that I was taught in creative writing class in college. I have been making a list of everything that I am passionate about and want to write about. I use main topics such the outdoors. Below them I have a list of subtopics I then add everything I would like to write about this like gardening, growing houseplants without killing them, the possibilities are limitless. You get the idea and I know you can do this. I am making sure that I can write many posts for a very long time.
I have decided to try a few ideas and I will let you know if they work. I will start one more blog other than the ones I have already started and which ever I feel has the most potential and is something I am really passionate about will be the blog I focus on. I believe focusing on one or two good blogs is a lot of work and I want to make them the best I can. I am keeping an open mind and a positive attitude. Marketing is the key to a successful blog and it does need to gain the interest of the public. I will make money off of this market yet. Just wait and see. One thing I won't do is brag about my riches and I won't make any promises I cannot back up. I will not fool the public like I have seen others do. I know you are smart and will not fall for anything dishonest. That's an idea I may write about advertising, what is smart and what is stupid or irritating.
