Honesty and the government job

The role models in this past 20 years have made it very difficult helping parents teach that lying and dishonesty are wrong. Everyday the television or internet has someone that has lied but recently they do not even have to look for the liars as they are found everywhere from all walks of life. It's out of control.

Professional athletes, actors and actresses should be positive role models to our children and honesty is expected. As for government officials holding positions of the highest offices in our country should be honest and trustworthy due to the position and as role models for our children. When you have several Presidents and government officials lie on the television without any remorse, apology or any attempt to do the right thing is harmful for our children and to other countries as well. America has some of the GREATEST LIARS IN THE WORLD.
Here are just a few:

• Lying is okay when your the President of the United States or in a government office.
• Dishonesty being is and there is a upsetting double standard created.
• It is okay for Americans to lie but shame on us if we do.
• If Americans are dishonest to other Americans then how good is their word in other countries.
  Status means you can lie.
• They think it is okay if your a government official as they never apologize or show any signs of remorse unless it seriously affects their position.
• They have no consequences as they do not have to provide documents that American citizens must when they lie or cheat.
• If you have money and power it is okay to lie and be dishonest.

Government double standards: Lie once, public is made aware of, lie twice more news coverage, lie three times still have your job, public takes notice, still has job.

Employees reality: Lie and/or cheat immediately terminated.
If I did not have my birth certificate or other legal documents I would not even have the job. Changing the way a word was defined to make a lie sound better,  any sexual misconduct, at-will State, TERMINATION.

As children truth and honesty were values and morals that our parents taught us consequences would be enforced when we told lies. In real life this holds the is reality. The government officials need to start really paying attention to and changing how they are being viewed by the American Public because our fears of security have greatly depleted and our hope in honesty is basically gone when it has anything to do with the government. The TRUTH will always win. No one expects perfect because we are human but if you are caught with your hand in the cookie jar, ADMIT IT.

HOW ONE INTERVIEW INCREASED MY HOPES

On Wednesday I received a phone call for an interview. The next day at 3 pm. I was there full of confidence and reading to give it my best. In the past I sounded too desperate and did not stress my talents outside of the job description. Being yourself is important and when you want to sell yourself to a company it is not good to sell short just to get the job. I do not want a just a job but career that I can invest my talents and skills to make a difference.

I have many marketable skills and even though I am a little shy I want to work for a company that will encourage me grow as a person and an employee. I also want to find an employer that will keep me as I am dedicated and want to stay with them for years. Forget this hopping around. I want to be an asset that will help the company grow and contribute to its' continued success. My abilities go beyond the job description but it is hard to put that into words. Personal branding is thinking of yourself as a high quality product except you have ambitions, feelings and are a human being.

Being human gives you qualities that are hard to put on paper. It is actions that can only be seen once you are working for the company. I want the company to trust me as much as I want to trust them. I do not want them to exchange me for a person just because they can pay them a lower wage to start. The ideal employer recognizes talent and uses it to his benefit. Does anyone know an employer like this? I know they are out there but when boss is good employees will stay and I understand why.

The success of a company is measured by not only making a lot more money but by when you never see an ad for employment unless it is to hire new employees.

MOTIVATION MOVING FORWARD

Instead of complaining about the overflowing garbage can as well as the housework that is creating clutter in my life and mind why don't I just do it. Normally I am an organized person and keep my house clean but lately I spend most of the day just sifting through my inbox full of useless e-mails. I am now motivated to move forward and hit delete without reading. You probably wondering why I don't just do the housework prior to looking on the computer as that would be the best answer.

FINDING A JOB is what is most important to me at this time and it takes time to create resumes and apply on-line and even then you have to hit "no thanks" due to the advertising for schools and whatever else they decide to place before you to get to the actual application process. I am now trying to block messages which does not work very much. I am totally frustrated with the worthless garb that is floating on the internet.

In my fantasy world I would like to create a product that could filter my incoming messages allowing one e-mail with the product versed 27 people selling the exact same product I could make a fortune. If anyone knows of a product like this please let me know before I become filthy rich on this idea. Mind you please do not steal my idea as I have a patten.

I know that it is not effective to cancel a subscription from one person because I am placed on another persons e-mail list selling the exact same product. Just one inquiry into an eye catching e-mail and there it goes again 50 people offering the same product. I want to create software that will stop the same products verses just blocking the persons e-mail.

Finding a job is very time consuming and important to me at this point in life. I want to let the employers that respond back with an e-mail even  if I did not get the job is very motivational and much appreciated. I have even received vaulable feedback about my resume and this is very helpful knowing you are doing the right thing. Thanks to all you employers that take the time to write an e-mail.
