Obama's world

You may think that Obama's change is for the best but is it really the change we want. In my community there are more people on the verge of losing the homes they have lived in for many years. I have lived in this community for 40 years and this loss of the American dream is not a good change.

One other point I would like to bring up is Obama's wife has walked into your home and taken away your freedom and people just let it go. The issue of taking away super-sized soda pops may seem small to you but this is an infringement on my right as an American to raise my family and make decisions for my family.

He is also showing no concern for our economy. Poor people mean his power is greater. He wants to be your children's father and Michelle wants to be their mother.

Just give this some thought if you have a mind that is not brainwashed already.

PS: Don't contact the President as he is busy playing golf and making us hate one another.

Home or Health

It is very hard to decide whether you should spend the money on getting your health back or saving your home and letting your health decline. Losing my home will increase the risks that my condition will get worse. Asking the government for help is like trying to make a stubborn mule move. It will only move with a lot of work, By this time you could have walked to where you were going carrying the whole load. The truth will always win because lies will fall a part.

If Obamacare is to help Americans without insurance then why do I have to stay sick as I cannot afford healthcare and my home. I am tired of politicians that say anything but really do nothing. Notifying your congressmen can help facilitate a response at least in my district in Kansas.

I e-mailed Lynn Jenkins about the issue of my application for medical assistance and got a response from her office the next day. Within a few days I received more action than I expected and this made me realize they really do care what you think. How much power they have on changing things in our system is another story.

Kelly Says, "E-mail your congressmen or women as you voted whether for or against they are here to listen to the people. The more we care and take action the better they will be able to help us fix what is wrong. Speak up and ask or tell them what is wrong with our system. The people that live it are the people that know what it is like to be an American in today's economy. How can things change if we do not tell them what is going on?"

Wall street protesters GIVE IT UP

I have faith in Jesus and all that he stands for. Being able to have total faith means no question that he existed and is taking care of me even when I am not aware of it. He always has taken care of me and answered my prayers. I see his miracles everyday and I hope you do to. I pray for those who do not know Jesus and have faith as you need all the help you can get.

I am thankful to be an American, to be free to express myself. Freedom also brings about responsibility. We all are adults and should be quite aware that we all have different opinions. This is what makes our country unique. To protest is to make known your opinion in a peaceful and organized manner. This I listen to and change my mind if I decide to.

To all the Wall Street Protesters: Are you adults or children that are not getting your way? Are you just having some fun which is really causing and inner destruction of our country. You are a misleading as you are not the majority of real Americans? We are working hard to build our country and you are hell bent on destroying it.

Quit acting like immature spoiled rotten brats that cannot get your way. Go back to school or work or whatever it is that you do.  You are being used to further Obama's New World Order and you can't see the forest for the trees. You are wasting your time and mine. You made your point now let it go.

You have taught me that I do not believe in your ideas and you will not change my mind. You have especially made me realize that you are being used and brainwashed for purposes that you will never understand. STOP making America look stupid and immature.

John Doe Club-Average Americans please apply

Many Americans that have jobs are resorting to using food stamps just to live. We are in a depression and everyone is afraid to call it what it is. With the price of gas, groceries and utilities on the rise the American Dream is fading away. It is now survival mode and the people are very frustrated, angry and tired.

Many of the politicians do not have a clue of what it is like to live day by day or even minute by minute. Homes for sale really mean that a person is losing their home due to the economy. The amount of homeless people is increasing everyday. Job security is gone. If you do not see what is occurring you are blind.

Now more than ever, we the people need to help our neighbors anyway we can. We need to start a John Doe club. This club will only include the average person. No person that is connected with senators, congressmen or women are allowed.

It is only to include the average person that lives day by day just trying to survive. We need to get together and start an organization that is not affiliated to any political party. The primary goal of this organization is people helping people survive in these hard economic times. 

Kelly Says, "If you are willing to help me organize this John Doe club please leave a comment and we the people will adapt, overcome and persevere. If you ask me, the wrong people are losing their homes and jobs."

Wake up America

Our country is falling into the laps of corrupt politicians. They have succeeded in separating the Americans and creating a class warfare. The radicals that are protesting Wall Street does not represent most Americans. Which category do you fall in?
Do you care about freedom and our country?
Do you want the European style of government?
Do you want less government or more?
Do you want the government to tell you what you can and cannot do?
Do you display apathy for our government?

I believe that people should hold freedom in their hands every day and remember that this is what made our country unique. Quit taking freedom for granted. If we have no freedom then you could not be protesting anything. Many of our soldiers from the beginning of America and have died in the name of freedom because they believed in it. Have all those lives been lost in vain? If you want to live with a socialistic government then leave America.

Kelly Says, "I want to make my own decisions and decide what I want to spend the money I earn on. I am an American and thank God I can live in a country that allows me freedom. Do not let this get taken away especially if you do not realize how precious freedom is. Slowly but surly they are taking away our freedom and by distracting you they are able to accomplish this. If you look at other countries they are not doing any better than America is and all of them are worse off then we are by far. Wake up America!"

Close minded or open minded

What is the definition of a close minded person? Someone that cannot see another point of view and refuses to be open to change. A close minded person believes that you must think like they do. Open minded people take all the information in and form their opinion. If it does not change then they have done all that is needed to be considered open minded. Do you consider yourself open minded or close minded and if so why?

I disagree that abortion should be legal except in rare cases where it can cause death or in rape situations. Does this mean I am a close minded person? NO, it just means that I feel strongly that with all the forms of birth control an unwanted pregnancy should not occur. Does this mean I would be against you if you had an abortion? NO, as it is your life and you make your own choices and you have to live with the consequences just as I do with mine.

Many life situations that I have personally lived through have shaped my feelings about abortion. I had a friend that had 5 abortions, using them as a form of birth control. She was still my friend but I did not agree to how she felt about abortions. We agreed to disagree which made us respect each other and created a strong friendship. Could you see how this formed my beliefs regarding abortion?

I am a strong Christian and was brought up Catholic and currently am a member of a Baptist church. I refuse to let religion cause prejudices as this is not Christian. Each of us are different and it all stems from our life experiences which formed who we are today. Keeping an open mind I have changed my mind but when I do it is still based off my strong beliefs and values that have made me who I am today. As a Christian I believe in the words Jesus said, "Love one another as I have loved you."

The point of this blog is that you can be different and still care about your fellow man. Beware of the wolf wearing sheep's clothing. In this world today we all need to keep our friends close and our enemies even closer. The more you try to force a person to change their mind the stronger their beliefs become. Make sure to gather all the facts and really understand what you are protesting or you will lose the battle and the war.

Honesty and the government job

The role models in this past 20 years have made it very difficult helping parents teach that lying and dishonesty are wrong. Everyday the television or internet has someone that has lied but recently they do not even have to look for the liars as they are found everywhere from all walks of life. It's out of control.

Professional athletes, actors and actresses should be positive role models to our children and honesty is expected. As for government officials holding positions of the highest offices in our country should be honest and trustworthy due to the position and as role models for our children. When you have several Presidents and government officials lie on the television without any remorse, apology or any attempt to do the right thing is harmful for our children and to other countries as well. America has some of the GREATEST LIARS IN THE WORLD.
Here are just a few:

• Lying is okay when your the President of the United States or in a government office.
• Dishonesty being is and there is a upsetting double standard created.
• It is okay for Americans to lie but shame on us if we do.
• If Americans are dishonest to other Americans then how good is their word in other countries.
  Status means you can lie.
• They think it is okay if your a government official as they never apologize or show any signs of remorse unless it seriously affects their position.
• They have no consequences as they do not have to provide documents that American citizens must when they lie or cheat.
• If you have money and power it is okay to lie and be dishonest.

Government double standards: Lie once, public is made aware of, lie twice more news coverage, lie three times still have your job, public takes notice, still has job.

Employees reality: Lie and/or cheat immediately terminated.
If I did not have my birth certificate or other legal documents I would not even have the job. Changing the way a word was defined to make a lie sound better,  any sexual misconduct, at-will State, TERMINATION.

As children truth and honesty were values and morals that our parents taught us consequences would be enforced when we told lies. In real life this holds the is reality. The government officials need to start really paying attention to and changing how they are being viewed by the American Public because our fears of security have greatly depleted and our hope in honesty is basically gone when it has anything to do with the government. The TRUTH will always win. No one expects perfect because we are human but if you are caught with your hand in the cookie jar, ADMIT IT.

Justice will prevail-happy 235th birthday,

On July 4, 1776 our forefathers wrote and signed their names to these words which maintain the high ideals values and beliefs we fight and die for still today. These words of wisdom today are very powerful with a strong vision have remained true well past the days they were first written.

Declaration of Independence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, among them are the pursuit of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness".

Americans should agree on one thing about our country and what has made it unique and great from all other countries is a great and powerful word "FREEDOM". Freedom to choose, of speech, to bear arms, of religion and to be who we want to be, individuals living in a free country.

For 235 years we have continued to live in a FREE country because people have fought and died for it. The original constitution and forefathers possessed came from the wisdom of living in other forms of governments.

The courage and strength of the melting pot of pioneers fought to live in America under a government with new ideas which they believed was a better way of life. Who would know more about freedom than someone that never lived it.

Holding on to their healthy traditions and leaving behind the injustice ways of their old countries was how this country survived. They converted to speaking English as their language and believed without question that this form of government was better than the one they lived in.

As a Republic, we are against socialism, fascism, communism and imperialism but the words "freedom of chose" are what have been taken out of context. Even anarchy has to have a form of government or chaos forms. Anarchy is against government but when actually lived it is not reality.

Americanism is a new form of government that is being tested by all these other ism's. Democrats,  Republicans and Independents all feel that have the right answers and will never agree due to basic moral and values varying. Truth and justice will prevail in the end.

The "Change" that Obama is bringing to our country is trying to change the basic moral fibers that brought our nation together. Our separation of parties has nothing to do with parties but due to trying to promote a "New World Order" form of Government.

The sooner that we put aside our differences of being Democrat or Republican we will see the forest through the trees. What the government is really doing is trying split our nation so they can move in and form new kind of government. We are Americans first which is really in danger now.

Why can't people see that this is what is occurring now. Chaos and anger has made countries fall and change and not always better for the people. This July 4th, 2011 remember that you are American's first and do not allow evil to invade what our forefathers had the wisdom to bring about 235 years ago today.

Kelly Says, "God Bless America, land of the free and the home of the brave! Get wise to what is really happening and then fight to keep America a free Republic! We may not even have Democrats and Republicans if we continue to miss what is really the goal of this change."

Freedom is fading away

Young American men and women in our military are fighting and dying in the name of "freedom". No other country experiences freedom like we do in America. They have lived for thousands of years without freedom and to think we are going to undo or change what it took thousands of years to create is not going to happen in our lifetime.

With this in mind when do we say it is time to quit and bring our military home. Unlike wars in the past we are fighting an enemy that has no face and terrorism seems to have no end. What are we trying to achieve at this point in time?. As soon as we kill one leader another is there to take his place. Their idea of freedom in these countries and America's will never be the same.

Our own freedom is slowly fading away and if we do not stop and start paying attention and taking freedom for granted we will lose what we are really fighting for. Our government is slowly trying to take away GOD by banning him from schools, city and government places. We are lucky that we can worship how we want to as a lot of countries cannot. Just imagine for a minute that the government could tell you what religion you have to practice.

Freedom of speech is beginning to be chipped away bit by bit. Songs are being banned as they are not politically correct. For example as song written and composed by the Chyles Road Band named "Welfare Blues" was banned in Washington State for being politically incorrect. The second amendment, the right to bear arms, is being threatened which was put in place to protect the first amendment. You are allowing this to happen if you do not vote, turn your head, don't speak up.

Have you ever taken one minute to think about how lucky you were to be born in America. The odds of you being born in this free country are very slim in comparison to the rest of the world. If you do not like America just turn on the news and really look how people live in other countries. El Salvador is a very poor and violent country with little hope for the youth to change the future. Most children have no parents and live in gangs.

Throughout history many men and now women have died in wars for preservation of our freedom or helping others try to have freedom. The countries we are fighting in have never experienced true freedom like American's have. Just think of your child waking up with no food, no home or no parents to teach them about what is right and wrong. Just open your eyes and think! Don't let freedom slip away so that your children must lose their lives to get it back.

Kelly Says, Obama promised "Hope and change you can believe in" but I prefer "to keep my God, my guns, my freedom, my money and you can keep the change".

OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW

The past is gone and the new year brings new hopes of a better year. Some things still will linger into the new year such as being unemployed but with faith all will be well. It is a good time to begin to think about what your New Years Resolutions will be. Some of the things on my list will be trying to stop smoking as I cannot afford it and my health becomes more important with age.

The next item on my list is to strengthen my faith in people and even more so in myself. Faith seems easier to have when all is going well in your world but not when you are facing the New Year with the same problems. I believe that this year will require a lot more faith due to our economy and the problems that face us as a country.

Worrying never accomplished anything so this year I want to be more grateful. As long as I can wake up everyday and feel that I tried my best yesterday I have nothing to regret tomorrow. Changing the way you think is a process that takes time. When you have been hurt in the past by a mean old person that totally rearranged your life in some form or another you have to learn forgiveness. To forgive is growth and all the effort you put into learning to forgive gives you new strength to handle obstacles in the future. 

If you read any of my articles you can tell by one article about "Mini Hitlers" that I had a bad experience with a boss. Today even though I am unemployed I am grateful to her for letting me out of the prison in my mind. Their are many good people in the world and I am sure that I will find a new employer that will restore my faith in bosses. "OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW" as the saying goes. Happy New Year to all of you and it will be a great one.
