Getting a job is difficult at 50

I have been looking for a job for 2 years now. Having an education by spending a small fortune came with promises and a guarantee of a bright and successful career have changed my faith in the education system in America. I have an A-B average and currently have enough credit hours to have a doctorate degree.

I just happened to get caught up in a career program because I liked helping the mentally ill. I paid the State of Kansas $100 to take a test to become a Licensed Mental Health Technician as this was equal to an RN with an AA. They said this was better than having an LPN as I had nursing and extra psychiatric training. I found out only after getting a job that working for the state is all that observed the license.

Now they have taken the License away but they took my yearly fee. I then decided to get an AA in Visual Communication again spending a fortune with the expectations of getting a better job but as it would have it they want a BA in the job market today.

Then the State of Kansas required me to get a Substance Abuse License so while going to school 1/2 time and working full-time I was let go for saving a life but not doing the paperwork perfectly. The point was saving his life so I think it was due to my age and a supervisor's grade school jealousy as she did not get credit for it.
On top of this I receive a letter from the state changing the requirements of the license. Trying to enroll to get my BA in Web Design and Interactive Media hardly none of my credits roll over so I am back to the beginning.

Many famous people have had no college degree and even the current President got an illegal and free education or he is not an American citizen. Something is wrong when $2,000,000,000 has been spent to keep this birth certificate suppressed. He is telling me to get more education for a better job and I need to save my money when he has golfed more than I have received actual interviews this past year.

Even being poor I cannot get an education without signing a promissary note that takes every penny to just get in the classes. They make sure you end up without ant extra money to help with school accessories. Be careful if you are just starting your career and find a counselor that can help you get a masters by age 23 so you can have a lifetime to pay off your loan.

Survey's That Really Make You Money

Send Earnings is a way to make extra money especially when you use it to purchase products through them. Reading e-mails earns you a little money but it takes a lot of time before you get to $30.00 and then it takes a couple months to get your money. This year I did my taxes on a site they recommended and I actually got $4.50 of the amount back.

When you take surveys you earn a little but purchasing products through their site you could actually make money very rapidly. The products are things a lot of people order anyway so why not help a neighbor save money. One thing that caught my attention is you earn 50% of the money of a referral that purchases anything from their sites.

One way to help each person earn money is by the "Pay it Forward" method. I do not have enough friends to refer but by working together, neighbors helping neighbors we could all profit from this. I would do the same for you if it would help you to make money just by letting you refer me. Direct TV offers up to $100 total each year taken off you satellite bill for 10 referrals.

I would never do anything to hurt you and I am not out to steal your e-mail address to fill your in-box with unwanted e-mails. Honesty and trust is something that seems rare these days but I only want to help others and in turn help save money on everyday living expenses.

E-mail Marketing Is Evolving

Scanning through my 123 new e-mails today even before noon my delete button is getting faded from all the use. E-mail marketing has evolved recently to the point that they come to you. They now fill your in-box with many sales, services and products that  encourage you to buy something.

How I got on this massive e-mail marketing list is a mystery to me or is it?. Making one purchase on-line or inquiring about information on a product and they have your e-mail.Visit a site and they have your IP address. It really is getting easier to obtain your e-mail and marketers will do anything to sell you something.  .

Things are looking up in making money from home. I am writing articles and it takes time and effort but it is rewarding as well. Self discipline and persistence are required but it is beginning to pay off. Living life requires money and hard work so don't believe in the "too good to be true" scams promising you riches without having to work because there is no magic button.

I have yet to earn a living from free blogging but perseverance has taught me a lot. I am grateful for not buying the first making money on-line product that sounded good. If my hard earned money was included in this so-called honest Guru sells page of his large Clickbank's account I would be guilty of promoting this type of marketing that needs to stop..

Miracles do occur and keeping the faith that their are honest people in the making money on-line industry it can be possible. It is the honest people that need to stop the dishonest marketers by not purchasing their products until you do extensive research. If I realize a honest way to make money on-line I will tell you how upfront before purchasing the product. How does free without any conditions sound?

Learning and Earning Money

You are never to old to learn and it is great to earn some money while doing it. I love to write and learn new things but what good is learning unless you can share what you learn with others. Knowledge is the key to growth as a person. It builds your confidence especially when you realize that others feel you have a talent for it. There are many businesses that need articles for many different topics. You can't lose as you learn and you earn. God gave you a brain to use so do not let it decay.

When I first started blogging I did not think others would hire me to write small articles about all types of subjects. Was I wrong! Here is how it started to work for me. I was asked to write an article on tractors and safety. It was fairly generic but with a little creativity, gathering the needed information I was able to write about 300 words in a short period of time.

They set the guidelines which were it had to contain a select amount of keywords and how many words they wanted. The biggest challenge was putting in a density of 2-3 keywords when there was 7 keywords. This did take some time and creativity but once I did my first article like this I learned ways to speed up the length of time it took to write this article.

The challenge was a great defeat and I learned while earning some cash. Not to bad for someone that wasn't sure if writing for money was even possible. I look forward to my next challenge which is developing a website for someone else and making money. Actually applying the skills of writing, web design and interactive media has been a great experience. I am now reaping the benefits of what I love to do and learning and earning is the reward.

Being A Secret Shopper

I just received my first check from being a Secret Shopper and I was delighted realizing it was actually an honest business. After I initially signed up I was able to pick the shop and it told me the amount of time I had to complete the shop and fill out their paperwork.

The reason I was a little nervous was right after signing up for my first shop I was sent an e-mail that wanted me to do the money order scam. I was sent two money orders by Federal Express with my name on them for the exact same amount of $963.00. Then I was to take out my payment of $200 and forward it on to another address that they gave me in the instructions.

They actually spent $20 to send it to me. Being a careful person I contacted my bank and was told not to proceed as it was a scam. It seemed so real but after I thought about it I was brought to my senses. By cashing the money orders it would look like I received all the cash and the IRS would think this was income.

The secret shopping job was real and I got paid just as they said. I did a shop that was something I would of purchased anyway so nothing would have been lost. I made very little but was excited that it was actually an honest business and I plan on doing another soon. I will try a restaurant so nothing is lost if I don't get paid. I hope it continues to pay as it said. I will let you know about the company after I do my second shop.

If all goes well I will let you in on the site. It does take some time to fill out paperwork and get a check but you really can't lose if you pick a shop that provides you with something you want and get paid a little extra for paying attention to your surroundings.

Writing Articles That Pay Real Money And No Fees

There are actually legitimate websites that you can write articles and make money. You earn so much for each article and the pay is small initially. Articles with about 150-300 will pay you about $1.50 to $3.00 initially but once you get more articles accepted your status increases along with the amount of money you can get paid.

They have several categories to choose from and then there is a deadline that you must meet. The money may not seem to be much but the chances to become a professional writer increase the range of pay. This also could be a valuable accomplishment to add to your resume when getting a job.

Review Sites Need To Be Reviewed

I went to search the internet from some information about finding legitimate work on-line and believed that they had really tried the products as they claimed before recommending them to the public. They had rated them from the best opportunities with a star rating system and seemed really legitimate. So I pushed the most highly rated program that was interesting to me and BAM I realized that this site was a total scam.

This really bothered me as I was researching very diligently to find information that I could rely on and they even claimed to be rated with the Better Business Bureau. After I realized that the site they had rated was a 5-star company was an out right in your face scam I went to the BBB. After trying every means to find the business on the BBB site I realized that it had no rating and was not listed at all.

What made me believe that they were honest is they talked about several companies that were scams. Another way to tell if they are verified or listed with the BBB is to press on the icon and a window opens up showing the company name, address and rating on the actual website.

Because they mentioned the BBB I put my trust in them without taking the measure to verify them first. How sad it is that people are so desperate that they are conning people saying they are saving you from the scam artist. I always push the icons and I am very careful to verify that they are real and not copied. As a graphic designer I could easily make identical symbols of the icons in Photoshop and Illustrator.

Trust in your intution and research each making money on-line opportunity first especially the sites that claim to have tested the products before you even think about purchasing the product. Now I understand how others lost thousands of dollars before making 1 cent on-line by not doing research and buying worthless products. We need sites to review these sites that review scams.
