Being unemployed for over a year now I am really frightened. I looked at my checkbook and began subtracting all the things I must pay and money is rapidly disappearing. I began to think about having to give up my satellite TV as it is a want not a need. Realizing I am slowly giving up all the things I enjoy is depressing. I do not go to the movies anymore as my bank account will now allow me so I gave that up. I don't go out and eat anymore. Even the kind of food I purchase from the store is not what I enjoyed when I was employed and bringing in an income.
Why should I have to give up my only source of entertainment? Because I have to be responsible and I want to keep my home. Watching the evening news even makes me more depressed as they say unemployment is about 10% and I can tell as the job offers are not exactly flying in. This has led me to explore more options because I deserve the right to escape from reality by watching a movie. I came across several options verses cable or satellite and they are more affordable. I will try the sites that offer a more affordable way to still watch movies just on my PC verses TV.
Some of you may laugh at me as you probably already do this anyway but to me it was a great way to save money and still have something I enjoy in life. I will survive this temporary condition yet and still have the things I enjoy. I will give it a try as it is better than nothing. You have nothing to lose just to check out the sites and you will be helping a honest person trying to beat the odds of making a living on-line for Christmas.
