"Mini Hitlers" that are in supervisory positions know that you can easily be replaced as there are many people that need your job and they know it.
You are replaceable in today's economy. Would the people you work with stand behind you when your boss is abusing their power? You would be surprised how many people you can count on today even if they say they will back you up. Having a job today has changed the dynamics in the workplace.
