VOTING-Take Control

Voting is a big responsibility and should never be taken lightly. Before you vote or decide not to I want you to think about some things. A government out of control is a result of apathy. Apathy has lead countries astray. We all go about our day doing our job and make the assumption the government is doing its' job just like us.

The first problem with this type of thinking is that we forget that we are actually the boss of our country. We must look at how the people we voted into office are doing their jobs. Never assume as you know it makes an A@*ss of you and me. It does not take much of your time to inquire about how good of a job the people you voted in and pay very well for that matter to see if they are doing their job.

Your boss watches you like a hawk and if you take one step out of line they are there to remind you of your mistakes. You can get fired but how many times have you seen anyone in the executive, judicial, or legislative government get the pink slip. It takes an act of congress to get them out of office. I would like for you to look upon the government because you are the boss because. By voting and paying your hard earned taxes we need to hold them accountable just as your boss does.

As an American you can vote for the person that you feel will work for you in the government. This is a privilege that many people take for granted. I hope you are not the type of person that feels your vote does not count. You could not be more wrong. It gives you the right to speak up if something happens you do not like. Otherwise you have not earned the right to complain.

I do not care what party you are but I do ask you to get out and VOTE on NOVEMBER 2. It only takes a few minutes of your time and it is well worth it. America still has a chance to make positive changes and get our economy on the right track. Kelly Says, VOTE IF YOU CARE ABOUT AMERICA!

I recently published an article on Ezine and it feels great to be considered and Expert Article Marketer. This article that discusses how our economy affects people and your job. An unstable economy can make people act in a way that compromises their morals, beliefs compromising their integrity.
After you read this story you will see how much people fear losing their job even when they know someone in power is abusing their authority. Very strange things occur in an unstable economy as this article will explain. I will say that you quickly learn that out of 10 people you work with you are lucky to have the one person that will not compromise their integrity.
To be truthful this is a very eye-opening experience in the workplace today. Hitler caused all large group of people to go against their morals and values but on a much smaller scaled this is occurring in workplaces all over America. "Mini Hitlers" that are in supervisory positions know that you can easily be replaced as there are many people that need your job and they know it.
You are replaceable in today's economy. Would the people you work with stand behind you when your boss is abusing their power? You would be surprised how many people you can count on today even if they say they will back you up. Having a job today has changed the dynamics in the workplace. I hope it is not happening to you or in your workplace. Abuse in Our Economy-Mini Hitlers

Hitler gained power by intimidation and brainwashing which caused fear and manipulated the majority of people into feeling that what they were doing to many people was justified or just deny it was occurring. Power and control can cause people to do things that are out of character normally. Abuse of power on a smaller scale can create similar conditions. Being verbally abused in a dysfunctional residential treatment center daily by my immediate supervisor did more damage then I realized at the time.

I allowed her to control my life becoming a victim due to circumstances. For 1½ years I took verbal abuse as I could not afford to lose my job. I had worked at this job for over 6 years. All staff had observed how she treated me told me to report her. Being without a job was not an option. One day I went to work as usual and then the words my immediate supervisor said “you’re terminated” put me in shock. I actually felt relief for a minute then terror stuck me like a knife in my heart.

Soon fear and anger set in as I was just “doing my job” it was gone. It’s ironic, don’t you think? This created fear in everyone which was my supervisor’s way of proving to all the employees that no one is secure. It’s no secret that the economy is currently very unstable and the unemployment rate is higher than it has been in many years. When a recession occurs everyone is affected even if you are not consciously aware of it.

As an unemployed American I have developed a whole new perspective about people and how they react in an unstable economy. I now know that people will lie, cheat and steal to keep their job even if there is a general consensus that power in the wrong hands can make people go against their values and beliefs by compromising their integrity.

Looking back I learned many things about human nature. Be it good or bad I will give it to you like this “Everything with a kiss." If this specific situation was reversed would I be afraid to speak up for a person that I worked with everyday for 6½ years if they were wrongfully being fired. Just to keep my job with a power hungry supervisor that was wrong? I wonder? Ask yourself this question today in this economy. I would hope I would maintain my integrity even if it meant my family would suffer.
